Home Ground - Ewood Park

Located in Blackburn, Ewood Park serves as the home ground for the club since 1890. It is the 14th largest facility in capacity in the English Premiership.

Though it is the oldest home to a Premier League club, it has an impressive 12th largest Premiership capacity of 31,367 seats. The size of the pitch is reported to be 115 x 76 yards.
 

It comprises four sections: Darwen End Stand, Blackburn End Stand, Jack Walker Stand and Riverside Stand.

Riverside Stand was named as such because it stands practically on the banks of the River Darwen. Coach company Fraser Eagle are the sponsors of the Riverside Stand, and the stand was renamed as Fraser Eagle Stand for the 2007-08 Premier League season. It provides 5,000 seats and is now the only part of Ewood Park to date from before the nineties. Jack Walker Stand was named after biggest supporter Jack Walker. The Jack Walker Stand provides 11000 seats, and includes the players dressing room and media facilities. Outside the stadium behind the Blackburn End Stand is a statue of Jack Walker. Away supporters are accomodated in the Darwen end. The ticket office is located on the corner of the Darwen End & the Jack Walker Stand.

Disabled Facilities:
There are 20 spaces for visiting supporters at the front of the Darwen End. Cost: Free for disabled, normal ticket price for helper. Renovations and upgrading of the stadium was carried out in the years 1903, 1915, and 1987-1995

By Bus: Blackburn central bus station is located next to the railway station. The buses serving Ewood Park are:
N.o. 1 (Darwen Cemetery - Darwen - Blackburn - Accrington)
N.o. 5a / 5c (Blackburn Outer Circle Anticlockwise and Clockwise)
N.o. 19 (Sunnybower - Blackburn - Feniscowles)
N.o. 225 (Bolton - Blackburn - Clitheroe)
N.o. 237 (Edgworth - Darwen - Blackburn)

Service 1 departs from stand M at Blackburn Boulevard. Services 19 and 225 depart from stand N at Blackburn Boulevard. Service 237 departs from stand P at Blackburn Boulevard.
The frequency of buses serving Ewood Park is every 10 minutes.

 
 


By Car
: Leave the M6 at junction 29 and join the M65 and head East to Blackburn. Ewood Park is well signposted on the M65, leave at junction 4, join the A666 and head towards Blackburn town. Ewood Park is about one mile away on the right. There are direct trains from Manchester Victoria, Salford Crescent and Preston.

 
 


By Train
: Blackburn station is approximately 1.5 mile from Ewood Park. Mill Hill station is approximately 1 mile away from the ground.
